What's the Poetry Track About?

Many writers start out as poets; it’s the first place we learn the real power of words.  And there are so many kinds of poems to play with:  haiku and limericks, sound and sense poems, couplets, clerihews   -- even the lyrics to songs

Here’s your chance to learn from University of Northern Colorado’s own poetry professor, Veronica Patterson.  This is high-level learning for those who love to get lost in a sonnet, want to write songs or just want to delve into the infinite word play that is poetry.

Guest Poet: Claudia Harrington, Spoken Word and Poetry Slam specialist! Spend an afternoon Slamming!
